Easily one of the best places to find comic icons for your characters, riri does beautiful work. Many of her icons are featured here in this journal on the wanted page. Check her out, she's good!

Another great icon maker, some of her work is featured on the wanted page as well. Though just a single page, there are a lot of good comic icons available here.
Hollow Art
This is a great journal that features a ton of wonderful PB's to use for your characters. Everything you will find is high quality, and if this journal does not have the particular celebrity you are looking for, you can put in a request for that person. Speaking from personal experience, the mods there are wonderful at fulfilling these requests.

A lot of information on characters can be found here, the only problem is that most of it is dated. If you use this, just be mindful of that.
